About us
Six Strings is a a small family owned Vineyard in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia, perfectly positioned between the rolling Willunga ranges and crystal clear waters of Port Willunga.
The story behind our name is simple, our winemaker, Michael, is a Musician!
A talented guitarist and passionate Musician, Michael has been playing guitar since early teens, studied at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney and has played in thousands of live shows around the country and opened for many of Australia’s music icons.
These days can be found playing in many of Adelaide’s popular live music venues in a variety of bands, solo at season launches for fellow wine makers or occasionally strolls over to our local coffee shop to play a few tunes.
Our plan is to incorporate his talent and passion for music into our vineyard so watch this space
